What should you do if Spotify Premium is not working?

This is a common problem many users face: After purchasing the Premium plan, the Spotify app shows the free plan. I worked on it and shortlisted some points that might work for you.

Logout and login again:

Sometimes, when you purchase a premium plan but that doesn’t show in the app, it can be due to network problems. You just log out from your account, log in, and check your subscription plan. It will now show the Premium Plan; you can access all premium features.

Check your Payment Status

You need to check your payment status; if it shows “Pending,” it means your payment has not been verified yet, even though the amount has been deducted from your account. In this case, you should wait an hour, and it will automatically be updated. If it is still not updated after an hour, you must email Spotify customer support with the screenshots of your payments. They will look into your case and will resolve it ASAP.

Payment via a partner company

If you have purchased the premium plan through any partner company and your payment status shows “pending,” Then you need to contact that company and ask them to verify your payment status.
